my list may be laughably obvious, but i just wanted to get things started.

• What I Talk About When I Talk About Running by Haruki Murakami : Inspiration to get out of our workout ruts in addition to giving Pauline an out to stop reading "The Wind Up Bird Chronicle." ;) Also, we can think about going to see "Kafka on the Shore" at Steppenwolf (or read that instead).
• boring boring boring boring boring boring boring by Zach Plague : Some local love here, and probably my way of easing back into reading something longer than five pages (le sigh, how easily my mind wanders...). Anyway, I didn't get a chance to view the exhibit or attend the release party, how about you two?
